Sleep has a score now. Walks have a pace. Even lying on a couch got renamed — recovery — like it only counts if it's setting someone up to be more useful later.
There's a tiredness in that, somewhere. Not tiredness from working hard — plenty of the same people still work harder than most. More like the part after the work quietly got recruited into the work too. Every hour off the clock needing a reason to exist.
The Lucielo starts from a different way of thinking about that time. Not less work, but some of it left alone — unmeasured, and unexplained, not invested towards any specific output.
None of that is meant to be lazy, its meant to be "lived." It is the reason you put in the actual work for anyway — the job, the money, and health.
We call them Deliberate Leisure and Deliberate Acuity.
Deliberate Leisure is being intentional about not optimizing something — doing it for the sake of experiencing the process. Deliberate Acuity is the opposite move, but staying just as intentional about it: sitting down to invest in something simply for the sake of using your brain.
